    3. Hi Richard, I have Clearys that are said to be from the Curragh, and do have Thomas-William-Michael-John names among them. Supposedly, two brothers left there about 1850 to be horse grooms for the Hibberts in a townland very near to Lough Derg. Eventually, my Clearys are farming and raising cows and horses right there in Cloutha townland. Does any of this sound familiar.
