RC records except for those held at the National Library in Dublin are held in local custody. Most parishes are on-line now, Church of Ireland, Protestant (most of Gentlemen/Esquire) were Protestant) and the parish records are held at the Church of Ireland Representative Library in Dublin up to 1899 after which they are held in local custody.
