You can e-mail them at cces@eircom.net . Ask them if the town land of Belean is in the parish. The general register office http://www.groireland.ie/research.htm can provide photocopies of register entries at a cost of 4 euro each. If you search http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start you will get 1) registration district, 2) year, 3)Volume, 4)Page No. Submit this information to GRO (with 4 euro) and you will get the photocopy. You could also try http://kildare.brsgenealogy.com/ . This website has information available on-line at 5 euro per record. You need to search very carefully before you buy because you can very easily get carried away and spend a lot of money without getting any relevant information. Re: Esther. When I saw grandson Patrick Leigh living with John and Bridget I guessed that his parents may not be far away. A search showed Esther and her husband living in the same townland who had two children but only one child on the census. To me that was only circumstantial evidence but you already knew there was an Esther. So, it has to be the same family. It's not so easy with Maria Doody's parents. I can't find anyone in the census that could be her parents. Unless she was the (out of wedlock!!) child of Catherine Doody. Best regards, Seamus.
