It is believed that Barbara was born in Scotland 1830 to 1840, father John Petrie, farmer. Barbara married an Angus McIntosh on Feb 26, 1857 India Office Ecclesiastical Returns-Bengal Presidency,,, Misc,,, India. Apparently Barbara & Angus were back in Scotland when Angus died sometime in 1858. There were no children. Then Barbara was in Kildare by 1863 and married Benn Scott who was living at Curragh Camps, Parish of Ballysaz, occupation listed as Surveyor's Department. Barbara was also listed as living at Curragh camps at the time of marriage. A son was born about 1863 named George. I don't know if George was born in Kildare. Don't know if Benn and Barbara stayed in Kildare. Barbara and son George arrived in Saint John, NB Canada about 1873 and Barbara was listed as a widow. Can anyone help me find out what happened in the approx. 10 year span between 1863 and 1873 if it's possible. I haven't been able to find a death date for Benn or a birth date for George.
