I read John Colmey post (again this year-2010 and beleives john and I ARE related!!! My great-grandfather was Andrew Colmey. Andrew was initially upper New York. I don't have all my family hx available but was probable around Victor,New York. There were also (to me) great uncles in Chicago,and some remaining in New York. I would love to communicate with you and other potentially Colmeys. Someone mentioned amongst the threads that Colmey was a rare name. up until 2-4 yrs ago googling Colmey resulted in 1-2 responses.
