You need to contact me via regular email, put O'More-memorial-Kildare in the subject. codeannette@yahoo.ca A bmd website for Kildare show no 'More but many sites just leave off the O'. There were both Moore and Moor Barnaby Moore 1685, Patrick 1686, Daniel 1688, John 1717 James Moore 1745, William 1755, Mary 1756, Murtagh 1757 etc. same as above-contact me. Due to the date I looked through Diocesan Will Transcrips 0, Index of Wills which often has records that early and the Deeds Registry - 0 www.familysearch.org has records from 1115 for Rory O'More but the one I checked had no information other than the dates. The PILOT of this website only had 5 records from 1860, and an all Ireland search 89 starting 1815. www.censusfinder.com United Kingdom Ireland County www.igp-web.com County usually two reliable websites for Ireland have little for Co. Kildare I have at home a CD of the births and some marriages for Ireland, few records so far I have check have records from the 1600's, usually in Northern Ireland. However, I will have a look later and get back to you. I googled "O'More - Kildare" and immediately got an history of the clan O'More: www.clanomore.com/history one of the sentences say the O' was removed by the British, my understanding is the families kept or removed it themselves as with the O'Byrnes of Co.Dublin/Wicklow etc.as it made treatment and doing business with the English easier. Many imigrants to the US, Canada etc.promptly returned the O' to their names. Annette Code 'genealogy for fun' Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
