It is near Carbury, in the extreme west of Kildare. There was a record of my ancestor's wedding on the amazing website of Irish records: http://ifhf.brsgenealogy.com. Through the same site, I have now traced the female line back another three generations. The male line (Keaveny) is just too hard - I found a few parish records at Rhode, but as records only start in 1820, I am stuffed beyond that.
