    3. Apart from those in the north of Ireland, it seems to me that since arriving in Ireland the Burgesses settled in Carlow and Cork, and of course some in Dublin. I've done a lot of searching on Burgesses in Carlow, but have never before heard of the name Titus. I don't believe you're likely to find roots for that family in Kildare though. They were married in Tuam Diocese in 1819. She died around 1830 perhaps in County Down. Family records indicate that he was associated with the army and subsequently as an innkeeper in Banbridge.
