Thanks for the Pendergast/Predergast comments- I have seen records for my family with both spellings and wasn't sure what the correct one was. The Prendergasts were from Geraldine, which I believe is in Athy. What was your maternal grandmother's name? When was she born? Do you know what her parents names were? Siblings?
