A Bridget McNally died in 1901. Would not her name been Rorke/Rorke at death? Griffith Valuations done in 1850 in Kildare serve as a census substitute for that era. Stephen Rorke and Mary Byrne are the parents of Christopher Rorke born 27 Oct, 1869 Stephen and Mary Rorke, had other children, Stephen 1870, Elizabeth 1872, Mary Catherine 1867, Edward 1879 and Patrick Jos.1875 (records numbers on the PILOT) There is no Michael Rorke or Bridget Rorke in the 1901 census in Dublin but they would of been 70 . There was one record of a Christopher Rorke possibily emigrating, I did not find Patrick, Edward, nor Stephen in the 1901 Census of the correct ages. You don't say what religion these people are. The Parish of Maynooth & Laraghbryan was a CofI parish with birth records starting in 1871 and marriages 1839. Whereas the Maynooth Parish of Maynooth is RC and birth records from 1814 & 1806 for marriages. Recently the Church of Ireland records for the City of Dublin were put online from a link to www.nationalarchives.ie (see lower left hand side) There are 35 McNally in www.eircomphonebook.ie but none in Maynooth, Kildare.
