Christopher didn't marry in Ireland as he immigrated in 1868 and married in 1870. The above websites should help you with finding more about Hannah Whelan - noting that Hannah sometimes became Anna - I did find one marriage of a Hanora Whelan, but now we know that isn't her. There are also bmd website online but I cannot put their names on the message board.
