However, I thought there were some of the family who did not come to Australia, so here is my request, could you please look up the name MACKEY and CORROLL all from Kildare. The booklet I have is several years old. I visited some cemeteries while I was there and was appalled by the condition of some of them. Straffan is by far the worst of what I saw. The weeds in the old cemetery are waist high and even if you can find a headstone, you cannot read most. I would love to have been there long enough to organize a cleanup. According to my cousin, they have been talking about just such a thing there but keep passing the buck to the County Council (seems they own the cemetery). A lot of good that does for our ancestors! You might try contacting the church in Kilcock. Maybe someone has already done so. I have to give credit to whoever maintains LadyCastle cemetery. That old cemetery is beautifully maintained. It might have something to do with a burial there within the last couple of weeks. I was there just last week and we could see the freshly dug grave. That was a pleasure to visit. good luck, Marge
