    1. Co. Kildare to Waterbury, Connecticut??
    2. J. Wiehn
    3. Hello, I am emailing the Kildare List members, who have Waterbury, Connecticut Irish ties/roots, to see if you can go thru your old photos to see if you have any that could be used in a future book on the Irish of Waterbury, Connecticut... We are looking for photos that show local waterbury Irish who may have been fireman, policeman, clergy, nuns. businessmen. etc.... Photos that show irish waterbury events such as parades, picnics, fraternal organizations meetings, or irish family gatherings. I am willing to pay for copies of photos. Also I can send you a CDROM disc that you can add scanned photos to if that is easier. Or just send us an attached file of the photo. Please email and I can tell you what dpi the scanned photos need to be for use in a published book. Or you can send us the photos and I will have them scanned and sent right back to you. Postage will be reimbursed. I'm also looking for stories on how/why your waterbury irish relatives came to Waterbury. Stories on thier life in Waterbury...... I have been given some great leads on Waterbury Irish from Author Neil Hogan of CIAHS. He has written some great stuff for the CIAHS newsletter. If you have seen the arcadia photo books this may be the style I will be doing the book in. Or as several people have suggested I should try to emulate the "Italians in Waterbury" book and make it more text based with some photos Drop us an email at [email protected] Thanks! 1. Information on HEALY family
    2. Hello List, I am seeking information on James Healy, his wife Alley (Alice nee Henry. There child William Denis Healy baptised in the Parish of Kilcock, Newtown in the Chapel of Ease on February 4th 1837. His sponsors were Michael O'Moro and Dora Groogan. William and siblings Timothy, Anne, Elizabeth & Margaret, all went to Australia. William met Ellen Ryan (parents Corneluis Ryan and Bridget Burke - Templederry, Co. Tipperary) on board the ship and later married in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. William and Ellen are my GGrandparents. I have very little on Ellen's family. What happened to their parents? Were there more siblings? And where did they go to? It does seem like the HEALY family came from a county other than Kildare. Can anybody help me? I am STUMPED. Information on Ellen and family would be of inerest to me too. Looking forward to replies. TIA Raine [email protected]

Where did she come in?( Boston, NY, Phila etc) Passenger lists often list place of last residence and may even list a relatives name and address.
