    1. [IRL-KERRY] Mukinagh in Co. Kerry
    2. Meg writes: === I am interested in a Daniel Ferris who married Alice Blennerhassett in 1733. Old Kerry records have it that he was from Mukinagh. Is there a Mukinagh in Co. Kerry? Google gives me a variety of spellings in various places. Is there a way I could find where in 1733 Mukinagh was? is? === Meg, There are two Muckenagh townlands in Co. Kerry. The larger of the two - 611 acres - is in Kiltomy civil parish, just 2 to 3 miles S. of Ballyduff village/small town. A 316-acre Muckenagh is in Kilfeighny civil parish, 5 miles SW of Listowel town. The two Muckenagh townlands are separated by 3 to 4 miles, with a half-dozen or so other townlands separating them. I don't know which of the two was referred to in the records.
