Michael posted this a while back, and I neglected to send a reply. So here goes. I have a second great-grandmother, Mary GRIFFIN (no dates known), but thought to have been born abt. 1820-25. Mary and Thomas RICE were married, 1 Feb 1844 Castlemaine Co. Kerry. This information taken from the church records online. I have no further details about Mary's parents or siblings. Thomas Rice was born 29 Jan 1822, Castlemaine. I do have six children born to this couple. They were Edward/Edmund; Mary; Patrick Thomas; Ellen; Margaret; and Mary Elizabeth. Brothers Edward and Patrick Thomas came to the U.S. settling in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., PA. If anyone sees a possible connection, will gladly share what I have. Best of luck with all your family searches. Marybeth C. acmbjc@aol.com =================================================================================== I am very new to this and have hit a dead end. I have traced one line of my family to a Timothy GRIFFIN and Elizabeth CALLAHAN who had at least 5 children from 1857-1871 in various places around the Castlegregory area of Dingle: Mary, Andrew, Jeremiah, Margaret, and Catherine (my great-grandmother). I have found the children's baptismal records online in Ireland, but no marriage or other records to trace Timothy and Elizabeth. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Michael
