    3. Thanks, Ray. I joined genealogybank.com this year and found valuable information about my family from newspaper obituaries, death records and police and court records. Most of my success came from The Worcester Spy newspaper. Many Irish came to Worcester, Mass. to work in the textile mills, building canals. 3. Meg, List, Meg I too rely on the "Worcester Spy" but you should check the "Springfield Republican", Springfield covers way more years and I have caught a few tidbits about Worcester folks in that paper. I have gotten great stories from my elderly parents when I ask about businesses and factories in Worcester that have disappeared. My soon to be 87 year old Mom likes me to read her the grocery ads from the store my grandmother frequented. She then calculates what the prices would be today! So it's not all genealogy for me!
