    3. Hi KerryKate, Great to see you are alive and kicking, my little girl stayed with Kerry Lynch in Fenit for a week, three weeks ago. Listry is in Kilbonane DED I believe Cornelius is James brother. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Kerry/Kilbonane/Ballymalis/1417559/ The Kennedy's are listed in Griffiths living in Kilbonane 1856, a John and James in Coolroe South I have checked the Kerryman Newspaper, the family are still living in Listry. 3. Hi! Thank you so much to all the kind and helpful people that have responded to my email. It is greatly appreciated. This was quite helpful and I agree that it is probably that the Cornelius Kennedy provided in the census below is likely my great great grandfather's brother. I can confirm that the Cornelius Kennedy and Michael Kennedy in the Holyoke and Springfield records provided in an earlier email are definitely my great grandfather and his brother Michael, who was chief of police in the area. I can also confirm that Mary Kennedy Lefevre was their sister. I have done some searching and browsing of the websites that were recommended and am eager to dig further. Years ago a distant cousin said her mother Mary Aloysious Kennedy was related to my great grandfather but I don't think she knew the exact relationship. My assumption has always been that her father was the brother of my great grand father but I have never been able to confirm. She was born 15 Sep 1865 and her parents were John Kennedy and Mary Kelliher (according to her Holyoke, MA marriage record). I was hoping to find the marriage records of John and Mary and James and Hanorah but I'm not sure how to find them since I don't see them on the http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/ website. Brendan, I am very curious about your comment below regarding the Kerryman Newspaper and Kennedy's living in Listry today. I would love to be able to contact them and see if there is any connection!
