    3. Hello Barbara, Seems there is a problem with the National Archives site also, at least there is with both at my end. I would guess that if they don't know they will know tomorrow morning. So its probably best to just wait a while and then try again. I don't know for sure, of course, but I believe the site does include all surviving RC diocese of Kerry records, up to about the very early 1900s. Some parishes were started later in the 19th century, others have had records lost, damaged, or even some, as I understand, are virtually unreadable. There were a few parishes where records began as early as the 1780s, but few outside of the larger towns such as Killarney. Most of Kerry was remote, mountainous and very poor.
