Hi Pat, A few records to help you out, there is no record that states anything but that Dennis and his wife were born in Co. Cork. Dennis was born 1826, Johanna 1827 Your John visited London 1915 with his son, he had not naturalised as he had been serving in the US army, he applied for a temporary passport US embassy London. There is a copy of the application on Ancestry.com it includes a photo of John.
