Hi Kerry Listers, I have obtained a record of birth of my great grandfather Cornelius Kennedy in Milltown County Kerry, but I don't really know where to go from there in my research. The record states the Superintendent Registrar's District as Killarney, the Registar's District as Milltown, and the Union as Killarney. It shows his father's name was James Kennedy and his Dwelling Place was Listry. He was born on July 27, 1871 and his mother was Hanorah Foley. I also know from his obituary (in Springfield, MA) that his sibling's names were Stephen J., John J., Michael J., James J., and Mary. Would anyone on this list be able to direct me to where I can find out more information regarding my great great grandparents James and Hanorah? I feel like with the Dwelling Place (not exactly sure what that means) of Listry I should be able to find census or additional church records but I am not sure how to obtain them.
