Hi Phil, The family turn up in the tithes 1820's living in Killowen. They do not appear in Griffiths probably because they were estate workers working on the Landsdowne Estate. The estate records are in private hands. They charge 100 euro a day to research the records. You have to research in person. I have searched graveyards in Kerry for my relations, unless they were rich or famous it is a real longshot. The family were just too early for civil registration and I have a feeling that not all of the children made it to adulthood. that's why I'm interested in any burial or gravestone resources available.
