Dear Shanna: I googled the phrase "Twiss family genealogy" and got 10 pages! I also have Twiss in my family tree, although it's not a main branch. Sarah Twiss, daughter of John Twiss of Ballycuslane, Co. Kerry, married John Poff of Cahermore, Flemby, Co. Kerry. John Poff was born about 1867. My main family lines in Kerry are Boyle and Blennerhassett. Twiss's are also mentioned in the Keane Letter on the County Kerry Genealogy website. If you can find a library collection of Albert Eugene Casey's "O'Kief, Coshe Mang, Clieve Lougher and Upper Blackwater in Ireland", you can find all the Twiss family you want. In 16 enormous volumes, Casey paid to have every record in every parish recorded. Try Irish Genealogy "http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/". I found over 400 Twiss records.
