The Tuosist Parish Social History Committee published a book "Lift the Latch". I would like to purchase the book which I understand costs $50 U.S. dollars BUT they also want an additional $75 to ship it. Does anyone know why the shipping charges are so high? Is there any way I can avoid the high cost of shipping?

I believe that the $75 includes the book plus postage ($50 for book and 25 for postage).
