In any case, here it is: FDA Seeks to Halt Popular DNA Testing Company. Last week the Food and Drug Administration sent a letter < http://www.fda.gov/ICECI/EnforcementActions/WarningLetters/2013/ucm376296.htm > to the DNA testing company 23andMe asking it to cease marketing its product - a DNA testing kit and accompanying information on disease risk and ancestry. The letter states that "FDA is concerned about the public health consequences of inaccurate results" from 23andMe's test. A 23andMe spokesperson told < http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-11-25/fda-tells-google-backed-23andme-to-halt-dna-test-service.html > Bloomberg News that, "Our relationship with the FDA is extremely important to us and we are committed to fully engaging with them to address their concerns."
