Does anyone know the timetable for the transcription of the Church Records of the various counties? We Kerry researchers are spoiled because ours were done so early but other many counties still are not available. Jeanne from CA

Jeanne, Many other counties are available from the Irish Family History Foundation. You might look to see if the county you are looking for is there. That is, however, a paid site. I did get lots of information on my grandfather's family in Kildare from there and had no problem paying for the results once I found the right people. But now you have to pay for the searches and pay in advance. I have tried looking for my Nora Lynch in Limerick and there are so many results that it would cost me a fortune to look at each one to see if it is mine. It seems to me that I was able to narrow down the results better when the search was free than it is now. I lost money over ten years ago with Irish Ancestors and I won't do that again. I paid $50 up front and found no information that I could not find somewhere else FOR FREE. I just checked the other day and still have 14 units of credit, since 2002!
