I would love to find someone connected to either McDonnell or Quirk families from Listowel, particularly going back to the mid 1800s. My great grandfather Michael McDonnell, born about 1850, married Mary Quirk born in 1839. The probably married in or about 1855 or 1856 as their first child Michael was born in 1857 in Listowel and their second child Ann was born in 1858. I cannot find a marriage record for Michael and Mary. No death record for Michael. Mary died in 1913 while living with her siblings in Listowel. The siblings names were Catherine, James and Jeremiah. Michael Jr. died in 1914 in Bedford. His son Michael died in the USA. Any information on this family, going forward or backward would be greatly appreciated.
