Please keep up the thread. I'm hoping to take a ferry/car trip from Wales to Ireland to visit Dingle and surrounding area this year. My Gt Grandfather Joseph Blake HOLBRY (coastguard, ex-Royal Navy) married Isabella Rose RYAN in Ventry parish, and granny Ada Blanche Ryan HOLBRY was born there 2 Jan 1895. Information on experiences of research facilities in the area would be welcomed. Any comments on roads Rosslare - Dingle and Cork - Dingle would be appreciated, as would any B&B information. Patrick.
