Hi All, I am still trying to track down another clue to my Sullivan's in Killarney. Another possible lead is that my g-grandmother (Nora) and her brother (John) lived next door to another Sullivan family (spelled Sulevan) in Wisconsin within 4 years of arriving in America. They were also named as witnesses to 2 of her children's baptisms. What are the odds that this is a brother? His name is listed as A.S. Sulevan, his wife is Mary and they have children named John, George, and Eugene. They all show up on the 1870 census in Oconto County, Marinette, Wisconsin. The census taker spelled Nora and Thomas's last name wrong so I'm not too worried that Sullivan is spelled differently, though they did spell John Sullivan's name correctly. Another question I have is this: Hanora (Nora)'s first daughter was named after my g-grandfather's twin sister, Lucinda. Their second daughter was named Cora Margaret, and I know Margaret was my g-grandfather's mother's name. Is it at all possible that Cora could be Nora's mom's name? Is it an Irish name? Any thoughts? Thanks! Donna
