Donna, Do you have Thomas Russell and Nora Sullivan's marriage record of May 1869? If not this could provide the name of Nora Sullivan's mother. Or John Sullivan's naturalization records? Hi Cheryl, I've looked everywhere for it but no success. There wasn't a Catholic church in Wisconsin in 1870 and the church says they could've been married by a traveling priest. I also checked with the state but they didn't have anything on file for them. I have John's certificate of naturalization and have worked with WI to find the original forms he filed, but again, to no avail. I just emailed the church he went to for the last 30 years before he died and asked if they have any information on him--even the parish where he was baptized would be helpful.
