I found a bus (the National Express) that runs from Stansted to Heathrow every hour and takes 90 minutes. If I take the Ryanair flight from Kerry, it gets me to Stansted at 9:40 in the morning, which should easily get me to Heathrow by 1PM--unless the flight is delayed or cancelled. Do you know if that is likely? Are u planning to fly from Kerry to London and pick up return to US on same day? Only word of warning is transfer from Stansted to Heathrow. If u are doing it by train it could take a few hours. If ur flying from heathrow at 3pm you would prob need to be there around 1pm. You'd probably need to be landing at Stansted at 10am at latest as 30 mins luggage pick up. I hr+ on Stansted Express and 1 hr Tube train from Liverpool St to Heathrow. U prob could get a taxi from Stansted to Heathrow but would be very expensive. Check out www.aerlingus.com for flights from Shannon->Heathrow. Only downside is 2hr drive from Killarney to Shannon. >So, I could leave immediately following the conference on Saturday and not >do any sightseeing in London, or spend Saturday and part of Sunday in >London >before heading to Kerry. A bus tour and 2 or 3 places to see. Get 1 day Tube(underground) travelpass. Not sure where u are staying but u may only need a Zone 1 pass (central london). Most things to see in London are all around same general area. Ryanair prices also fluctuate alot depending on bookings etc. Fintan ___________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
