As I do most of my research in Penobscot County, Maine, I find many many who are from N.B. and S.J........from Ireland, then finally settle in Bangor, Old Town and beyond.. Just how they arrived, I am not sure....but the logging so prominent in Bangor in the 1800's attracted many for work, from near and far .....
