Hi Trish. Do your Fawkners have a tie to England? I took a look into the Ancestry.com general search and found a "Lily Fawkner, born abt. 1872 in Boston, America. Residence in 1881was Falmouth, Cornwall , England". She was listed in the 1881 England Census, which I do not have access to. (I only have a US census subscription.) Hope this helps! When was Thomas born? Was he originally from Ireland?
