Yep, them's my Higgins! Just kidding, but my paternal grandmother was a Higgins. Her granparents, originally from Ireland, raised her after her US father abandoned her (I think her mother died early). They lived in Northampton, MA. I consider her father a scoundrel, but I don't think he was one of those Higgins (hope not). I don't know which county my Higgins came from. Thanks for the article, Ray.
