Trish, Caherfilane is a Townland in the Civil Parish of Kilgarrylander, also in the Catholic Parish of Keel, Castlemaine, Co. Kerry. Caherfilane is west of Castlemaine Village on the road from there to Inch, with Gortaneden Townland to the east, of Caherfilane and Shanahill to the west. There are 2 pages of photos from Caherfilane on our photo site. The cover page is a photo of Batt Cournane and wife Mag Carey who lived in Caherfilane.
