    3. The ports of St Andrews and Saint John were very active. Up north there were other that I am less familiar with. A great book about the Irish in New Brunswick is: "New Ireland Remembered" edited by Peter M Toner. It is a collection of essays (some by Toner) about several topis about the Irish in New Brunswick. If you can get your hands on a copy it is a must read for those who have Irish who settled in New Brunswick. 3. I own a copy of another interesting book featuring Irish emigrants to the Miramichi area of New Brunswick. It is focused on one extended family, the Harrigans, from Scull, Cork, who are maternal ancestors of the late noted American musician Bing Crosby. The title of the book is "Ireland to North America: emigrants from West Cork" by Joseph A. King, 1994.
