Not sure re townloand but Glencar has a church, school pub, football team etc. It mountaneous area close to Killorglin. I often pass through it. If u have a map, cross bridge at Killorglin and take first left. Keep straight for 5-6 miles until u come to an area called Glencutane. Here there is a T junction. Keep right. (Left would bring u back towards Kilgobnait,Beaufort,Gap of Dubloe,Killarney). Continue for another 3-4 miles passing Lough Acoose. You will come to another T junc. Turn right and go on for a mile to find church pub shop. Go straight for 'Climbers Inn'. School between 2.
