Hi All, I am back from killarney and had a great visit! I had 2 1/2 days--a whirlwind--but managed to go to two parishes and look through their records: Kilcummin and Killarney. Unfortunately, no matches. I also drove to the Tralee Library and looked (briefly) through the Casey Collection, again with no luck. I had a friend travel with me and we had time to visit Muckross House, Ross Castle, Sneem, Kendare, a small portion of the Ring of Kerry, and Tralee. We also explored all of Killarney. I got a parking ticket in Tralee and was charged an additional 64 Euros because my suitcase was 5 kilos over the limit (entirely due to the souvenirs I was bringing home with me), but other than that, found Ireland and its people to be friendly, generous and helpful. I had a blast driving on the opposite side of the car and road! I can't wait to go back for a longer visit. Thank you for all of your help! Best, Donna
