Hi all As a tall dark haired 100% irishman I looked into this at one time. Most geneticists that I have read believe that any survivors would have had little if any impact on the gene pool. THe way I look at it, us dark haired ones are from the Fir Bolg. who really knows for sure. if you are that curious you should see the pretty recent genetic reports about the Irish and the celts.
