Hi Guys I've discovered that my Great Grandfather was in Tralee jail in 1898. Does anybody know whether I can access records that would show his offence and sentence? Presumably, one way would be to research the local newspapers, but I wondered whether the actual court records may be available. Cheers Neil Murus aeneus virtus - Virtue is a wall of brass
If anyone knows the answer to Neil's question about the Tralee Jail in any years from 1750 on, would you kindly post it to the web? I am interested in such things as my Sullivans, Connors / O'Connors and Sheas came from Tralee (Curraheen), and many others may be as well. Thank you.
