Lizzie I think that one of the reasons that we occasionally disappear from sight is that when we don't see anybody posting queries or tidbits of genealogical gems, we kind of assume that the list has been shut down. We need encouragement, and the best encouragement is lots of posts that we can react to, particularly regarding the Knocknagoshel area where some of our Kerry ancestors spring from so that Jack and I can concentrate on banter, rather than reading microfilm. For when one gets to be geezers like us, reading microfilm (or the books of the Casey Collection) gets to be darned difficult. It's much easier to see the keys on our keyboards and our screens (where we know how to increase the size of the type using Ctr+ ).
