Hello all. I would suggest, strongly, that you take a wool cap, the pull down over your ears kind. I traveled western Ireland in early June and the wind on high ground or near the ocean can go right through your skull. It also rained frequently, if not hard, and the head scarf I used got soaked. A wooly cap will bead up and dry quickly. Take gloves as well; it never hurts. Maureen in warm/freezing/sunny/cloudy Denver (it can't seem to make up it's mind around here).
