    1. Re: [IRL-KERRY] Trip to Kerry
    2. Kerry
    3. I'm getting such fabulous suggestions. My dd went to Barnes & Noble this afternoon and bought a good map of Ireland for us to start marking with the ideas we've received. I don't know if I mentioned that my ggrandmother came not just from the Dingle Peninsula, but she was from Dingle town. So I want to contact the priest or bishop or whoever I need to contact so that when we arrive we'll be able to get as much information as possible. Can anyone give me contact information for the Catholic priest in Dingle town? Would there be the possibility of more than one church there? My ggrandmother Bridget Day was born in Dingle on 20 September 1873, attended the day school at the convent of St Mary's church in Dingle, and she left Ireland to enter Castle Island (I believe this is right because of the time) in New York in 1888 and moved to Holyoke, Massachusetts. I'm not sure how much of that is needed to know how to contact a priest, but someone suggested that I put information with the request to find the right church. Thanks in advance. We've received so much fabulous information that we are really getting excited about making a trip in September, God willing. There are hurdles to pass between here and there, but the prospect is so wonderful. I went from a longing to go (before sending my request in), to feeling like this might really happen. Blessings, Kerry
