Hi Jeanne, The weather tends to be similar to the weather here (I'm in Chicago). So, I would take clothes that you can layer. It can be cold or warm and most likely rainy. As far as the cell phone, I didn't rent one the last time I was there (this past July), I just took my own. I had to call my provider (AT & T) and they activated it for use internationally. It cost either $4.99 or $5.99 for a month plus the cost of the calls. The calls back here were expensive, but the ones I made to people in Ireland weren't. The charger that came with my phone blew out, so you will have to find one here that is compatible with their electrical voltage. I thought mine was, but it wasn't! Also has anyone had any experience renting a cell phone for use while traveling in Ireland. Thank you.
