    3. Hello Marge, and all, When I read this message, I was immediately touched by 2 words - Multiple Sclerosis. I am going on 49 years old, and I have lived with MS for the past 19 years. At the 'young' age of 30 years old, with a whole world before me, I learned of this diagnosis, "my diagnosis" of those frightening words. I have long believed, and have deepened this belief, over the course of the past 19 years, that God above does indeed 'carry' His children, through all their tribulations, their fears, their worries, and all that troubles us. I have come to believe this 'fact' through so many different chapters of my life, that in fact had nothing to do with MS. The long and short of it is .. because of His infinite power, wisdom, and might, all things are possible. We have only to belief, to ask, and to leave the results to faith and gratitude for all we are and have. Multiple Sclerosis, from my own experience, is in fact not the terrible thing I feared it would be. I know there are some who are a lot worse off than me with MS, and with other health issues in life (physical, emotional, spiritual, and so on....). But, because we take care of our brothers and sisters, our Father takes care of us. Your co-worker, and you, are in my special prayers, Marge. Have faith, have willingness to believe, be there as the caring person that you seem to be, and leave the rest to the Father. I, too, knew a living saint in my life. She was my paternal grandmother, a strong, loving woman of County Cork stock!! It can be such a comfort, sometimes, to silently have a chat with those 'living saints' of our lives, who may no longer be with us, of this world, but who still continue to be so special to us. Have a few words with that priest from Tralee - it can bring some ease and comfort. I am asking for your prayers for a girl that I work with who was just given a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. She has had a very great deal of misfortune lately and this may be the straw that breaks the camels back, so to speak. I know that God does not give us more than we can handle, but this is just so much for her to have to bear that I must at least ask God to reconsider this load. AND I am not just asking for prayers BUT for a MIRACLE - AND not just any old miracle but a SPECIAL ONE (I know they are all special). I had a very dear friend who passed away nine years ago this month and I believe that he was/is a saint. He is my favorite priest of all time and he was from Tralee. He built my home parish here in the states from the ground up. I would like to use this occasion to start him on the road to sainthood. If you are willing to pray for this girl, email me privately and I will give you the details.
