Hi Fintan, The births are US census. I am not sure of parish. Daniel stated he was from Glenflesk and his parents Killarney. I'm not familiar enough with the area to know how close those locales are. I belong to genealogybank.com and right now I'm trying to tie Daniel and Julia to the many Courtney's, Healy's and Donoghue's in the Worcester,MA area to see if I can come up with names that way. I know they were all cousins some which way. I keep reading the same names as pallbears in obits.I have births of some of children from LDS but 2 are not to be found. One is my great grandmother she told the family the church burned and her baptismal records along with it. She did not know her birthday. I have been trying to google church fires in the Killarney area about 1875-1883 but I can't find any. I did find a real interesting tidbit. Frank Courtney their son was very athletic. He played semi pro baseball, was offered a contract with the St. Louis Cardinals but was let go after a few short weeks. He then went on to manage the Haverhill team of the New England league. So all this searching did do some good. I now have a scrape book on Francis Courtney's baseball and track career!! By the way good point on parents being listed if they were alive. I never thought of that. Thanks for the help. Helen
