I thought a marriage record would be good because I have conflicting data. Death cert. on Daniel has his father as Daniel, his mother unknown Donoghue. His marriage has father as Denis mother is Julia Donoghue. The closest record I found for a Denis Cournane married to a Donoghue was a Mary. I thought for sure this was it since oldest daughter is Mary. Maybe Casey was incorrect in this 1 little fact.. However the year is 1854. Daniel got married in 1870 to Julia Healy who was born in 1845. Could that be correct? He was kinda young if he was born in 1854. These folks were not good with numbers they gave birth of 5 children born in Ireland all as May 1 year apart. What are the chances of your first 5 children all being born in May!!! I am planning a trip to Ireland maybe I should wait and spend a few hours in the NLI. between sight seeing tours. Thanks again, Helen
