Hi List, I found a birth on LDS site and there were numbers with the data. Cheryl gave a hint that they might be urban Killarney codes. I would appreciate any info if anybody knows the answer. The birth record reads: Mary Cournane 01 NOV 1873 307,Killarney 2, , Kerry,Ireland If the 307 and Killarney 2 is a code does anyone have a location in Killarney for this code? Hi Helen You'll probably find that 307 is the page number of the volume in which the birth was recorded and Killarney 2 is the Registrar's district. Some of my ancestors births were recorded in "Killarney No 2 District". Hope this helps.
