Looking for information on John Canty, father William. Listed in 1861 Middlesex/London - Poplar, Millwall census as a shoemaker, b. Co. Kerry. With children Wm., 22. b. Kerry and Ellen, 14, b. Kerry and son Maurice, 4, b. England. Cornelius Canty may be a brother to John. Have no name for John's first wife. Appears John married his second wife Margaret, with whom he had Maurice in about 1857. She died abt. 1859. There is a possibility some of this family emigrated to Canada late 1860's.
