Marge, It gives me goose bumps to read your story. I know you have been on the list as long as I have , so congratulations , well done. Wish it were me , but Marge is correct it does take years and perseverance . Each time you open the computer start a new search but think it through. Who can I ask is most important ,some one ,some where has the information We help each other . My story on my fathers side does not centre on Kerry. They were Irish from Balbriggan Co Dublin but living in England I could not find my grandfather's daughter who was born in Boston M.A I think when her mother died she went to live with her grandfather in Falmouth Cornwall. Her name was Lilly Fawkner. This search has gone on for at least 12 years. In Australia ,USA and England One of our loyal Kerry followers said to me Trish , there is a marriage in the NSW records for Mary Elizabeth Fawkner Now I live in NSW , had seen that marriage for at least for the last 10 years but ignored it as the three son's of my grandfather were too young to have a child called Mary So my Kerry list friend said "Go on have a look at it , Lilly is short for Elizabeth." Now there she was right under my nose as I had never heard that Lilly could be short for Elizabeth. So some times it helps for some one to make a suggestion . And there you have it!
