Hi - I'm new to the Kerry List, although on other ones. I have been having a problem with finding a village. The name shown on a Death Certificate is "Lerveen" but I have been assured that it is not in County Cork so I decided I would try the surrounding counties in the hope that it occurred there. It would appear to have been large enough to have a church/chapel as my husband's ggggrandfather was married there c.1830. I read that there was a "Creveen" in Kerry - could this possibly be what I am looking for? Any help gratefully received. TIA Kay - in Northern NSW, Australia.
